I can see this as a possibility, but I also see how the opposite could also be true, that the skills women are usually stronger at eg emotional intelligence, social intelligence are the skills AI is least able to do and gives women a huge advantage over men in the AI age.
I’m not sure which trend will be stronger, both seem possible to me.
It’s an interesting point, if embraced and understood by more women it is indeed a huge opportunity. I hope upskilling women from non-tech backgrounds leads to more becoming builders - and then the impact scales!
Why do you have a sort of artificial intelligence sound to your voice and intonation? I feel like someone’s trying to troll me into accepting AI, and you’re just some AI deepfake lol. Soon some company will come out with the whole prank…and a bunch of bromen will cheer the prank on, and laugh about how dumb women are for falling for the whole thing, then invest loads into some AI startup company who pulled it off, and AI will keep destroying the world, and making everyone dumber.
I don't think that I do - but if that's your opinion, you're entitled to it :)
my ethos is actually literally never about getting people to "accept" AI - if you listen to the episode, you'll hear that my focus is on driving awareness of the dangers of AI, increasing human agency in the face of automation and driving accountability around the technology that will impact us all.
Everything I do is in service of trying to preserve our humanity in the face of rapid automation.
I would so welcome Substack flagging content that is AI generated and marking which content is 100% human generated! Of which, mine always is.

Of course, your comment is what an AI in disguise would say…very suspicious. Very suspicious, indeed! 🥸 📰👀
Oh, I was joking - a little bit - hence the lol…but don’t make me regret calling you a real person if you are an AI who is after us, after all!
